Chemtex Recently Became ISO 9001-2015 Re-Certified!

Chemtex is incredibly proud to announce that we have maintained our ISO 9001 certification for 25 years! We successfully passed our recertification audit administered by our accrediting organization, NQA. It required a huge effort in the Chemtex organization, and everyone stepped up to the plate and hit it out of the park. Thanks, team!

What Is ISO Certification?

ISO is the International Organization for Standardization. ISO 9001-2015 is the internationally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). It is the most widely used QMS standard in the world, with over 1 million certificates issued to organizations in 178 countries.

ISO 9001 provides a framework and set of principles that ensure a common-sense approach to the management of your organization to consistently satisfy customers and other stakeholders. In simple terms, it provides the basis for effective processes and effective people to deliver an effective product or service time after time.

To earn this certification, Chemtex put lots of time and energy into setting up internal standards for quality and consistency using a process approach The primary focus of our quality management system is to meet customer requirements and exceed customer expectations with an ongoing focus on continual improvement

Third-Party Accreditation

It’s one thing to say you are doing things right, but ISO 9001 means that outside experts have confirmed you are doing things right.

Third-party accreditation is the critical element. In order to achieve ISO 9001 certification, Chemtex went through a third-party audit by our certifier, NQA. NQA is a leading global independently accredited certification body, providing assessments (audits) of organizations to various Management System Standards since 1988. Their parent body, NTS, accredits a broad range of industries, including the civil aviation, space, defense, nuclear, telecommunications, industrial, electronics, medical and automotive markets.

NQA’s worldwide operations are accredited to perform management systems registrations by ANAB (American National Standards Institute/Registrar Accreditation Board), UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) and various other regional and industry-specific oversight bodies.
